This artwork portrays a very tranquil state of mind over harmonious quiet colours. The poem is by the eminent Islamic poet Hassan Ibnil Thabit (the Prophet’s poet, pbuh). The poem says in what could be interpreted like this (praising Al Ansar in Madinah):
There are people who do what they do in the most effective way – decisive and clear. Others would not be able to undo what they did, neither they will be able to beat them in opinion or political judgement.
The original artwork was produced in 1998, inks and acrylics on fine paper. The size of this piece is approx. 152cm x 122cm. The artwork was acquired by a private collector.
