Between Desert and Sea: A selection from the Jordan National Gallery of Fine Arts

The exhibition “Between Desert and Sea: A Selection from the Jordan National Gallery of Fine Arts” opened on 24 January 2013, it shows the common background in contemporary visual art between Turkey and the Arab countries that are on the shore of the Mediterranean which include Algeria, Egypt, Jordan, Lebanon, Libya, Morocco, Palestine, Syria and Tunisia.

This exhibition includes 55 paintings, sculptures and graphic artworks from the permanent collection of the Jordan National Gallery of Fine Arts representing 44 prominent artists from the Mediterranean countries, the artworks on display represents different styles, trends and subjects. The exhibition will run through 21 April 2013.
