In your opinion do you AGREE that mass migration & speculation have been on the go for centuries & there's nothing new about cross-cultural exchange.
Or DISAGREE with that statement and feel there is something new definitely happening. Especially when you look at the speed & frequency of cash & information flows. Air traffic & tourism have never before existed on such a large scale. |

| Twenty years on from the original Live Aid, Bob Geldof has unveiled plans for a repeat of 1985's concert, now called Live 8, to highlight the ongoing problem of global poverty and debt. Questions arise as to whether these efforts are able to succeed. Is giving money to poorer countries for example, more effective than pressurising the G8 members in forgiving debts or in practising fair trade? |
