Ali Omar Ermes' artwork "Bidayah" explores the significance of the dot in human endeavors, as seen through the poetry of Att'anokhi and Ermes' own commentary. The dot serves as the starting point for any activity that involves touching a surface with an object, whether it be writing, designing, or something else. With this artwork, Ermes delves into the role of the dot in marking the beginning of a journey, inviting viewers to consider the power of even the smallest of actions. Created in 2008, "Bidayah" stands at 132cm x 130cm and is made with acrylics on paper.
